How To Get Started Volunteering

All Optimal Hospice Care volunteers are required to go through an application and orientation training process. To be a hospice volunteer all you need is a little time, a caring nature and a willingness to listen and be a friend. Optimal provides all the training and ongoing support that you will need to have a successful, rewarding volunteer experience.

Application Process

You will need to complete the application process to begin your volunteer journey. Download an Application, print out and complete the application. Once you have completed the application, contact the Volunteer Coordinator in your area for information on how to get started with your training.

This is a time when you can explore the various opportunities that Optimal Hospice has to offer. Our goal is to help you find fulfillment and a sense of satisfaction in working with our hospice team. Volunteers are truly the Heart of the Hospice Team—and without the support of our amazing volunteers, we simply could not provide the quality of care that Optimal has become known for.
