Physical Therapist

 

The Physical Therapist must have a valid license with the State of California. Must have current CPR certification and pass a pre-employment physician’s health clearance with a negative TB test. The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy to patients according to a physician’s written order. Must be able to assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/function status, and participate in the development of the total plan of care. Is able to communicate and work effectively with members of the interdisciplinary team. Must be able to instruct/educate patient/family/caregivers in the use and care of devices. Fits patient for any device required. Reports progress and changes in patient condition to physician. Supervises Certified Home Health Aide if used in care of patient in the absence of the Registered Nurse. Accurate and timely completion of clinical and progress documents. Adheres to all safety policies and procedures and Standard Precautions
