The first of its kind in the southern San Joaquin Valley, Caring Corner is a unique pediatric day care program designed especially for nurturing medically fragile children. Utilizing a combination of skilled nursing care, creative activities and a caring touch, the program allows parents to go to school, work or take a much needed rest.  

When people walk into the bright, colorful day care center, they may see common children’s activities such as music time, crafts or story telling. Nursing staff and assistants customize each activity to encourage development and meet the individual needs of each child. As one child described it, 

“It is better than Disneyland!”

Children, ranging from infant to 21 years old, who require medical supervision, treatments or equipment for a medical condition can receive care at Caring Corner. The experienced nursing team works with families to make sure each child is safe and cared for in an environment suited to meet their needs.
